Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Richard Jay Franlkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryden Rivers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Franlkin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to ACDC- For Those About To Rock . Richard Jay Franlkin had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bryden Rivers!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers doesn't manage to clinch there - Franlkin circles away.

Rivers is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Franlkin to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Franlkin shrugs it off.

That was a close second round but I would say that Richard Jay Franlkin will probably get the nod.

Rivers feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Franlkin slaps away a takedown attempt from Rivers, before circling back to the center of the mat.

and Franlkin counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Rivers!


Rivers is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Franlkin decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Rivers is still on wobbly legs! Can Franlkin finish him?

and Franlkin counters with a big right hand! Oh Rivers is in trouble here! Franlkin follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
