Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Philip Negan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Shark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Philip Negan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Philip Negan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shark tries to clinch but Negan moves out of range.

Shark tries to keep at a distance but Negan has taken the fight into the clinch.

Negan pulls guard successfully.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Shark got a little sloppy there for a moment and Negan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Shark has managed to get both his arms back between Negan's legs - danger averted.
Negan seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Shark really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Negan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Negan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shark manages to get himself to full guard.

Negan is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Shark is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Shark has his foot on Negan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Negan works his way back into a safe position though.

Negan drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Negan as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Shark screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Negan! Nice submission victory there!
