Jong Un is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: North Korea National anthem. Erasmo Trout has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Erasmo Trout!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kim Jong Un!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jong Un looks to land a combination but Trout avoids it well.
Jong Un lands a jab-cross combination.
Some wild striking there from Jong Un.

Trout dodges the punch combination from Jong Un.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jong Un enables Trout to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jong Un manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Trout seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jong Un can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Trout controls the pace.

We're going to have a standup here because Erasmo Trout wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Trout drives through with a takedown into Jong Un's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Trout slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Trout stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Jong Un takes a kick to the side of the head.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Trout lands a couple of elbows.

Trout has gone for a leg lock! Jong Un slips out almost immediately though and dives into Trout's guard.

Trout is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jong Un is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Trout throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Trout had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jong Un defends it easily.

Jong Un has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Trout to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jong Un is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Trout pulls down on the head and he's put Jong Un to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Erasmo Trout!
After the fight, Erasmo Trout was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
