Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tone Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jenkins shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jenkins showed some decent athleticism there.
Jenkins throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Bravo is not content to let Jenkins control the position.

Bravo tries to lock up and control but Jenkins gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jenkins enables Bravo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jenkins manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Bravo wants to control from the top but Jenkins keeps moving.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jenkins manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bravo manages to get himself to full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jenkins holds on and takes a little breather.
Bravo wants to get up but he can't break Jenkins's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bravo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jenkins.

and Jenkins counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bravo's knee momentarily.

Jenkins gets a double leg takedown into Bravo's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jenkins is looking to work some ground and pound but Bravo has wrist control.
Jenkins slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The strikes coming from Jenkins are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jenkins goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bravo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jenkins but great work by Bravo.

Bravo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jenkins keeps working.
Bravo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Jenkins is pressing down on Bravo's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Jenkins throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Bravo wants to control from the top but Jenkins keeps moving.

Bravo wants to advance to full mount but Jenkins doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Bravo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Jenkins wants to sweep but no luck.
Jenkins trying to keep a closed guard but Bravo is proving a slippery customer.
Jenkins lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bravo!

Bravo tries to control the position but Jenkins now has his back.
Jenkins is throwing strikes by Bravo counters by rolling into a better position. After a scramble, Bravo regains half guard.
Jenkins wants to stand up but Bravo is controlling the position.

Jenkins thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bravo's head.

A close third round but Tone Jenkins just about did enough to take it.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Bravo shoots in but Jenkins avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Bravo has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Jenkins clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jenkins throws an elbow that misses. Bravo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jenkins's guard. Nice move by Bravo!

Jenkins is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bravo has escaped the position, nice work there.
Bravo manages to get back to half guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
