Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy Kesler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ron Wood!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood tries to clinch but Kesler moves out of range.
Tommy Kesler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kesler is looking to clinch but Wood is avoiding it.

Kesler gets a clinch.
Kesler gets underhooks to prevent Wood's takedown attempt.
Kesler blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Kesler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kesler fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Wood shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kesler sprawls well. Kesler wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wood gets slowly back to his feet.
Wood shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kesler but Kesler pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tommy Kesler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ron Wood.
Wood looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Kesler drops Wood with a beautiful combination! Wood stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kesler is looking for the KO!

It looks like Ron Wood has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wood shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kesler pinned against the cage. Kesler gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wood is still on wobbly legs! Can Kesler finish him?

Kesler closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Kesler gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Wood seems to have recovered his senses.
Kesler is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Wood reverses the position - he's now on top in Kesler's guard.
Wood should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Kesler is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Kesler is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wood pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Kesler gets control of Wood's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kesler will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Kesler is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Kesler has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wood can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kesler throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kesler is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Wood to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Wood shrugs it off.

A head kick from Kesler lands but Wood takes it in his stride.

and Wood counters with a series of strikes. Kesler will be more careful next time no doubt.

Kesler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wood ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kesler moves away.
Wood doesn't manage to clinch there - Kesler circles away.
Wood slaps away a takedown attempt from Kesler, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Wood is trying desperately to land a takedown but Kesler is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Wood.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wood.
Kesler shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wood as he jumps to the side.

Kesler throws a nice looking combination but Wood bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wood uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kesler.
Kesler lands a jab to Wood's midsection.
Wood throws a head kick that misses.
Kesler shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wood as he avoids it easily.

Wood wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Wood is trying to drag Kesler to the mat but Kesler just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Kesler wants a takedown but no success here.

Kesler manages to break the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kesler.
Wood uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kesler.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kesler stuffs the takedown attempt from Wood. Wood gets slowly back to his feet.

Kesler buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Kesler throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
