Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ronan Gaara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oskars Treimanis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaara blocks a head kick by Treimanis.
Gaara throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Treimanis stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gaara throws a series of punches but Treimanis avoids them all with ease.
A swing and a miss from Gaara.
Treimanis takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Gaara throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Gaara rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Treimanis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Treimanis dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gaara. That did some damage!
Gaara fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Treimanis has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Treimanis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gaara.
Treimanis closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Treimanis walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Gaara checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Gaara definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Gaara paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Treimanis moves into range and connects with a jab.

Gaara throws an overhand right that lands on Treimanis's shoulder, as Treimanis tries to avoid the shot.

Treimanis connects with a leg kick. Gaara looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Gaara scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Treimanis throws out a head kick that Gaara doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Gaara crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Gaara's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

Oskars Treimanis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gaara walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
