The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Hymmf scores with a four punch combination!

It looks like Vladimir Mineev has been cut.
No joy there for Hymmf, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hymmf tries a head kick but it misses.
Mineev falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hymmf counters with a nice body kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hymmf circles away from the clinch attempt
and Hymmf counters with a left to the body.

Hymmf clinches up with Mineev and pushes him back against the ropes.

Hymmf breaks the clinch.
Mineev closes the distance but Hymmf moves to the side
and Hymmf counters with a nice leg kick.

Hymmf forces Mineev back against the ropes and clinches.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Hymmf throws an elbow but misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mineev tries to break the clinch but Hymmf is controlling the position.

Hymmf pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hymmf moves into the clinch.

Hymmf breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hymmf misses with the combination.
Hymmf works over Mineev's head and body with a nice combination.
Hymmf scores with the left hand. Mineev knows he should have avoided that one.
Vladimir Mineev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mineev throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hymmf throws a body punch but Mineev moves out of range.
Mineev closes the distance but Hymmf moves to the side
and Hymmf counters with a body kick that stops Mineev in his tracks momentarily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hymmf circles away from the clinch attempt

and Hymmf counters with a right, a left and a big uppercut that drops Mineev to the mat! Hymmf runs to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. 3,4,5,6 and Mineev is back to his feet. He seems ready to continue - the ref agrees so we're back at it!

Mineev is rocked!

That has opened up Vladimir Mineev's cut even more.
Hymmf closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Mineev out cold! Mineev corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
