PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vaan Tseng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Fatso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fatso tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Tseng fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fatso.
Tseng avoids the head kick by Fatso.

Tseng shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fatso napping and manages to drive through into side control!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Tseng tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tseng has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

It looks like Big Fatso has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tseng tries to move to mount but Fatso blocks the move with his legs.

Fatso tries to buck Tseng off but Tseng is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fatso really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tseng. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fatso is looking to improve his position but Tseng isn't that keen on the idea.

Tseng takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Tseng has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Fatso's face.

That has opened up Big Fatso's cut even more.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Big Fatso's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A relieved looking Vaan Tseng thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
