Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam Rubio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morrison is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Crawling. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison tries to bum rush Rubio with a series of wild strikes but Rubio uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rubio tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Morrison paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Morrison scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Rubio decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Rubio is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Rubio is pressing down on Morrison's thigh, looking to free his foot. Morrison is holding on for now.

Rubio is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Morrison defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rubio is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Morrison to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Morrison shrugs it off.

Rubio jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Morrison is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Morrison and Rubio has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Morrison shoots in for a double leg but Rubio sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Morrison counters with a crisp one two that drops Rubio! Morrison thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Rubio to his feet! Rubio is in big trouble!

The fighters are working up against the cage. Morrison manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Rubio shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Morrison eats them both and turns towards Rubio to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Morrison is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rubio is just riding it out for now. Morrison eventually gives up the hold.

Rubio is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Morrison's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Morrison's back!
Rubio is not going to allow Morrison to sit and survive in this position.
Morrison is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Rubio off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Rubio is working for a rear naked choke. Morrison is not defending it well and Rubio has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Morrison refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Morrison's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
