Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Lola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chael Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Oscar Lola!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chael Silva!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lola swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Silva shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lola defends it nicely.
Silva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Chael Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lola circles away quickly and effectively.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Lola jumps guard and drags Silva to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Lola escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lola looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Silva is defending well. Lola quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Silva has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Lola celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
