Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Colt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Claude Noir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Colt kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Steppenwolf - Born to be Wild. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noir takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Colt lands a jab to the head.
Colt jabs Noir right on the nose. Noir blinks but takes it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Colt tries for a takedown but Noir sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Colt throws a good cross that connects.
Colt misses the shot to the body.

Colt has taken the fight to the clinch.

Noir breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Colt throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Colt throws a right and a left that Noir avoids nicely.
Colt shoots for a double leg takedown but Noir sprawls well. He's pushed Colt's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Colt throws a hook but Noir avoids it easily.

Colt closes the distance and clinches.

Colt has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Noir is trying to keep an underhook but Colt manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Noir is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Colt pulls his head out easily.
Colt is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Colt slips a nice elbow through Noir's hands, connecting with Noir's forehead.
Colt throws a strike but Noir avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Colt keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Noir's head.
Colt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Colt passes Noir's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Colt is thwarting Noir's attempts to control the position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Colt connects with a nice short shot to Noir's temple.

Colt looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Noir with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Noir has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Colt escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Colt!
Noir wants to get back to his feet but Colt drags him back down.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Noir can do anything to dispel that myth.

Alex Colt spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
