Vuijsje gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Vuijsje had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Putin is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Vuijsje Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Putin's back instead.
Vuijsje looks gassed!

Putin manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position.
Putin keeps the fight on the outside.

Putin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Putin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Putin working for a submission but Vuijsje is keeping him at bay.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Putin sends Vuijsje crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Putin is motioning to the referee to let Vuijsje up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Alex Vuijsje has been cut.

Putin measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Vuijsje! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
