The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones throws a right and a left that both miss.

Johnson lands a left and a right that send Jones crashing to the mat, dazed. Johnson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Luis Jones has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Johnson looks to land a combination but Jones avoids it well.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Johnson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jones wants to clinch up but Johnson keeps it at a distance.
Johnson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Johnson misses with a series of wild punches.

Jones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Johnson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Jones is really squeezing tight and eventually Johnson passes out! Jones breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
