Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between DooRag McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tam Conway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGee comes to the cage accompanied by Lay Low - Snoop and Nate Dogg. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Conway. Those never looked like landing.
McGee dodges the punch combination from Conway.
McGee shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Conway counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
McGee fails with the takedown
and Conway counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Conway stuffs the takedown attempt from McGee. McGee gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for DooRag McGee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McGee takes one to the chin there.
McGee closes the distance and clinches.
McGee tries to score a body lock takedown but Conway shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
McGee keeps control of Conway as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
McGee tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Conway just stands there and leans against the cage.

McGee gets control of Conway's arms and successfully pulls guard. McGee will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Tam Conway was stalling too much, according to the referee.
McGee takes a swing at Conway's ribcage but misses.

McGee tries to close the distance and clinch but Conway swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Conway counters with a series of strikes. McGee will be more careful next time no doubt.
McGee shoots for a takedown but Conway saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
McGee misses with an uppercut
and Conway counters with a shoot takedown. McGee fights it but they end up in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Conway loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
McGee is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Conway is controlling him.
Conway throwing strikes but missing.
Conway throws a big right hand that misses.

Conway avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Conway tries to stand but McGee is controlling from the bottom.
Conway keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of McGee's head.
Conway must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
McGee is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
McGee looking to control.
Conway is working McGee over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
McGee manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Conway manages to get himself to full guard.

McGee prevents Conway from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Conway is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
McGee stands and throws Conway's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
McGee trying to control the position but Conway is working away.

A close round but Tam Conway will probably get the nod.

McGee with a lazy takedown attempt
and Conway moves into the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Conway's face as he tries to break the clinch.

McGee tries to pull guard but Conway won't allow it.
Conway tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
McGee pulls Conway into guard.
McGee working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Conway.
Conway scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Tam Conway has got the better of the ground game so far.
Conway in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
McGee is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
McGee is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

McGee has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
McGee trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Conway really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
McGee working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Conway wants to get back to his feet.
McGee throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Conway really wants to buck McGee off and get back to his feet.
McGee throwing strikes here but Conway is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
McGee is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by McGee!

In defeat, Tam Conway stepped up to the mic, saying 'The reason I lost is because of whitey. Black power! Ain't never takin' my du-rag away, that's my life, son. I'll be back to terminate yo ass.'.
