Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Belfort might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Brazilian War Drums. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark Kerr!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerr shoots for a takedown but Belfort saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Belfort scores with a nice right hand.

It looks like Mark Kerr has been cut.
Belfort tests Kerr's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A lazy left from Belfort finds it's target.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kerr shoots for a double leg takedown but Belfort sprawls well. He's pushed Kerr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kerr goes for a double leg but Belfort avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Belfort continues to drive forward.
Thiago Belfort has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Kerr.
Kerr drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Belfort gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kerr's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Belfort lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kerr backwards.

Belfort drops Kerr with a big knee straight up the middle! Kerr is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Kerr is rocked!
Belfort seems to be stalking Kerr here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Kerr drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
