Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Francois Dubonet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Francois Dubonet has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dubonet.
Hayes keeps the fight on the outside.

Hayes gets a takedown into half guard.
Hayes wants to free his trapped foot but Dubonet is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Hayes moves nicely into side control.
Hayes passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Dubonet!

Hayes wants to finish this one by submission but Dubonet is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hayes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hayes gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Dubonet has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hayes is working away from the top position though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Dubonet throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Hayes tries for a takedown but Dubonet circles away easily
and Dubonet counters with a good low kick that Hayes was not able to check.

Hayes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Hayes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dubonet keeps working.
Dubonet is trying to get back to half guard.

Hayes is working to tighten is grip on Dubonet's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Dubonet has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hayes is really squeezing tight and eventually Dubonet passes out! Hayes breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
