Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zayed Abdullah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Komodo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abdullah comes to the cage accompanied by Kalluri Vaanil. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Alyssa Summers and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Abdullah blocks the leg kick.
Abdullah moves in looking to clinch but Komodo pushes him off.
Abdullah closes the distance and clinches.
Komodo throws an elbow but it misses.
Komodo lands an elbow just above Abdullah 's eye.
Komodo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Abdullah tries to clinch but Komodo moves out of range.
Komodo feints and then cracks Abdullah's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Abdullah down.
Komodo looks for the body kick but Abdullah saw that one coming.
Komodo throws a wild body kick that Abdullah sees coming a mile off.
Abdullah tries to clinch
and Komodo counters with an outside leg kick.
Abdullah blocks a head kick by Komodo.
Abdullah rushes Komodo and presses him up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Abdullah misses with a body punch.
Komodo blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Komodo prevents a body shot from Abdullah.
Abdullah misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Komodo misses with an elbow strike.
Abdullah throws a punch but it's blocked by Komodo.
Abdullah fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Abdullah has a couple of punches blocked by Komodo.
Komodo breaks from the clinch.

Abdullah wants to clinch up but Komodo keeps it at a distance.
Abdullah chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Komodo can pounce on him.

Abdullah takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Zayed Abdullah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abdullah is breathing heavily.
Abdullah darts in trying to clinch
and Komodo counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Komodo misses with an elbow over the top.
Komodo prevents a body shot from Abdullah.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Abdullah swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Komodo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Komodo throws a chopping leg kick but Abdullah manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Komodo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Abdullah moves away.
Komodo turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Abdullah closes the distance but Komodo moves to the side
and Komodo makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Abdullah really felt that one!
Abdullah misses with a two punch combination.
Komodo scores with a spinning back kick!

Thud! ouch! good body kick from Komodo - that will leave a mark!
An inside leg kick lands from Komodo.
Abdullah stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Komodo.
Abdullah takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
A chopping leg kick lands by Komodo.
Komodo bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Komodo throws a leg kick which misses Abdullah's front leg but catches the back leg as Abdullah tries to avoid it.
Abdullah is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Komodo lands a leg kick that knocks Abdullah off balance momentarily.
A jab from Komodo finds it's way through Abdullah's defenses.
Komodo is looking to slow Abdullah down with leg kicks.
Abdullah keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Komodo throws a quick inside leg kick.
Abdullah chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Komodo can pounce on him.

Oh Abdullah is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

A relieved looking Joe Komodo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
