The crowd seem to be enjoying Castle's choice of entrance music: 12 Stones - Bulletproof. Eric Castle is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Howland misses.
Howland pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Castle back to the cage. Howland follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Eric Castle has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Howland tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Castle manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Castle feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Howland looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Castle passes into side control.
Howland wants to control but Castle postures up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
