Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Heywood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tvirkmantas Kuvalda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Heywood might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fast Food Song. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Tvirkmantas Kuvalda enters the ring!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heywood has a takedown stuffed.
Kuvalda shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Heywood defends it nicely.
Heywood moves into range and connects with a jab.
The fighters circling - Kuvalda throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Heywood is pressed up against the ropes. Kuvalda has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Heywood down to the mat. Heywood avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Heywood.
A punch combination from Kuvalda misses.
Kuvalda closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kuvalda lands in his opponent's guard.
Kuvalda thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Kuvalda looking to sit in guard and control but Heywood gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Heywood is looking to advance position but Kuvalda has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Heywood is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Kuvalda tries to control but Heywood wriggling away.
Heywood working to try and regain half guard.

Kuvalda misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Kuvalda throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Heywood because Kuvalda loaded up on that one.
Kuvalda pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Heywood avoids a series of strikes thrown by Kuvalda.
Heywood is breathing heavily.
Kuvalda wants to control the pace but Heywood is squirming around nicely.

Kuvalda cracks Heywood with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kuvalda is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Heywood can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Kuvalda trying to control but Heywood is having none of it.
Kuvalda postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Heywood bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Kuvalda and the fight is over!
