The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ablett throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kinder.
Ablett misses with a body shot.
Dean Kinder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kinder tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ablett manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kinder tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Ablett shoots in and bounces Kinder off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ablett in particular looking to stall.

Ablett takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Ablett wants to work for an arm triangle but Kinder is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
