Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Shimazu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knatte Grep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grep lands an overhand right.

Grep scores with a takedown into Shimazu's guard.
Grep throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Shimazu works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Grep throws a big elbow that misses.
Shimazu is trying to keep Grep in close.
Shimazu keeping moving, preventing Grep from controlling successfully.
Grep pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Shimazu is keeping the position for now.

Shimazu is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Shimazu wants to stand up but Grep is controlling him.
Grep with a flurry of punches that miss.
Grep trying to control but Shimazu is working from the bottom.
Shimazu can't keep his opponent in guard - Grep advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Shimazu trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Grep manages to pass to mount!

Grep working for a submission but Shimazu is keeping him at bay.
Shimazu keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Grep lands a big shot there that rocks Shimazu but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Shimazu wants to hold on but Grep pushes him away.
Grep has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Grep scoring with strikes but Shimazu is staying in there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Grep connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The referee warns Shimazu that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Shimazu tries to hold on but Grep postures up.
Grep putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Shimazu sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Grep is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Grep moves into full mount! Shimazu won't be happy about that!
Shimazu in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Shimazu is in a horrible position here. Grep smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Grep raining down shots from the mount!

Grep swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Shimazu is now in Grep's guard. A big mistake from Grep there, giving up the dominant position!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Grep tries to land a sweep but no joy.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Shimazu stays in close to Grep's body and controls the position.
Grep bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Shimazu's guard.
Grep looking to sit in guard and control but Shimazu gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Grep manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Grep is in the full mount, landing strikes.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Shimazu is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Grep! Shimazu is hurt baaadly! Grep is firing away with more strikes - Shimazu is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
