Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Renato Sobral!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John McClane!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sobral gets tackled into the ropes by McClane. McClane maintains the clinch.
McClane lands with a short shot to the head.
McClane keeps control of Sobral as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
McClane is pressed up against the ropes. Sobral has hold of a leg and is looking to drag McClane down to the mat. McClane avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
McClane scores with a nice strike.
A combination from Sobral does no damage.

McClane gets a clinch.
McClane lands a hook that snaps the head of Sobral backwards.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Oh Sobral is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

McClane dips a shoulder and cracks Sobral with a mighty uppercut! Sobral falls back against the ropes and McClane unloads with a barrage of strikes! Sobral is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the ropes! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - McClane screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John McClane!
John McClane decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
