The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ngwabeni fails to land with a series of punches.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wuan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Wuan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ngwabeni.

and Ngwabeni counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

A bone on bone clash there as Ngwabeni blocks the leg kick.
Ngwabeni swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ngwabeni misses with a wild combination.
Wuan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ngwabeni.
Wuan tries to clinch but Ngwabeni is having none of it.
Ngwabeni lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ngwabeni crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wuan - the referee stops the clock and Ngwabeni gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wuan. Ngwabeni manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Wuan jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Wuan takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Wuan is rocked!
Ngwabeni goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Oh Wuan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ngwabeni tries to bum rush Wuan with a series of wild strikes but Wuan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ngwabeni misses with a double jab.
Wuan is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Ngwabeni moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nkosiyapha Ngwabeni!
A relieved looking Nkosiyapha Ngwabeni thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
