Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rick Flare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pauly Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flare comes to the cage accompanied by Also Sprach Zarathustra. Boy has chosen Smiley - Dead Man Walking as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Flare shoots in and drives through. Boy sprawls well.
Flare drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Flare shoots in for a takedown but Boy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Horrible takedown by Flare or perhaps it was just good defense by Boy which made him look bad.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Flare accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rick Flare.
