The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Bohn struggling a bit here.
Smith moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Smith is working Bohn over with some ground and pound from side control.
Bohn wants to control but Smith postures up.
Bohn is looking to regain half guard here but Smith keeps moving and retains side control.

Bohn takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Smith has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Bohn is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Smith yanks on the arm and Bohn is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Smith.
