Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between The Batman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moises Platoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batman moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Batman fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Batman falls off balance throwing a combination

and Platoon counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Platoon.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Platoon drops back looking for a leg! Batman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Batman manages to kick Platoon off! Platoon jumps back into Batman's guard.

Batman on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Batman tries to get out of the position.
Batman is looking to stand back up but Platoon counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Batman.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Platoon is thwarting Batman's attempts to control the position.
Batman wants to get back to full guard.

Platoon seems to be working for a kimura but Batman defends the submission attempt.

Platoon is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Batman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Platoon on the ground.

Platoon looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Platoon is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Batman doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Platoon.

Batman wants to improve his position but Platoon is controlling well.
Batman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Platoon is working away from the top position though.

Batman is looking for a sweep. Platoon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Batman is working hard here to advance position.

Platoon is trying to work for a kimura but Batman is defending well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Platoon with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's time! Batman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Batman throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Platoon tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Platoon on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Platoon dodges the punch combination from Batman.
Batman tries to close the distance and clinch but Platoon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Batman feints a jab promting Platoon to slip. Batman then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Platoon slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Platoon is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Batman jabs Platoon right on the nose. Platoon blinks but takes it well.
Platoon is still on wobbly legs! Can Batman finish him?

Platoon takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Batman lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Batman drops Platoon with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Platoon! Batman dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
