The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearson lands a really nice looking cross but Zedong seems unphased.
Pearson throws a combination. Zedong tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Zedong will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wayne Pearson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pearson scores with a sloppy right hand. Zedong should have avoided that one.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zedong with a poor takedown
and Pearson counters with a straight that turns Zedong's legs to rubber! Pearson pushes forward with more strikes and Zedong goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
