Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cosme Capetto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sin Sundrea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cosme Capetto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sin Sundrea!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sundrea misses with a wild combination.
Sundrea swats away the attempt to clinch by Capetto.

Capetto fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sundrea sprawls well initially but Capetto persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Capetto winds up and cracks Sundrea with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Capetto prevents Sundrea from standing back up.
Sundrea is trying to escape back to his feet but Capetto uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Capetto has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

A punch combination from Sundrea misses.
Sundrea throws a body punch but Capetto moves out of range.
Sundrea swinging wilding here.
Sundrea takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Capetto goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Capetto gets the takedown into side control.
Capetto in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Capetto is looking to take a break and control but Sundrea is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Capetto takes a little break here. Sundrea wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Sundrea wants to get back to his feet.
Capetto creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Sundrea sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Sundrea is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Capetto asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Capetto decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Sundrea keeps the fight on the outside.
Capetto lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Capetto scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Sundrea looks like he's trying to stand up.
Capetto is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Capetto seems to be working for a kimura but Sundrea defends the submission attempt.
Sundrea pushes Capetto off looking to stand but Capetto dives back in and keeps control.

Capetto is taking a breather. Sundrea says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Sundrea has one foot on Capetto's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Sundrea tries for a takedown but Capetto circles away easily

and Capetto counters with a single leg into guard. Sundrea didn't expect that.

Sundrea is looking to stand back up but Capetto counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Sundrea.
Capetto tries to move to full mount but Sundrea actually manages to regain half guard.
Sundrea is staying active underneath Capetto, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Capetto escapes and gets back to his feet.

Capetto clinches.

Capetto escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sundrea swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Capetto moves into the clinch.
Sundrea wants to get back to striking at distance but Capetto won't allow it.
Sundrea is trying to break the clinch but Capetto has him pressed against the cage.

Capetto breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sundrea misses with a jab to the body
and Capetto counters with a head kick.
Sundrea takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Capetto shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Capetto controlling his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cosme Capetto dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Sundrea gets off balance looking for a body kick

and Capetto counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Sundrea's guard now.

Sundrea has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Capetto off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Sundrea scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Sundrea rushes Capetto and presses him up against the cage.
Capetto is looking to break free of the clinch but Sundrea has double underhooks.
Sundrea tries to score a body lock takedown but Capetto shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Capetto has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sundrea is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Sundrea lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Capetto.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Capetto.
Capetto tries for a takedown but Sundrea manages to get underhooks.

Sundrea is trying to break the clinch but Capetto has him pressed against the cage.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Sundrea has had enough of the clinch but Capetto keeps him there for the moment.
Sundrea can't find room to land a body shot as Capetto controls the action.
Sundrea is trying to break free.
Sundrea tries to throw a body punch but Capetto avoids it by throwing Sundrea back against the cage.
Capetto wants to break the clinch but can't.
Sundrea has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Capetto avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Sundrea swings wildly with an uppercut but Capetto uses good head movement to avoid it.

Sundrea pulls guard.
Sundrea wants to stand and escape but Capetto is having none of it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Capetto is standing up over Sundrea. Sundrea looks to escape but Capetto dives into side control.

Capetto stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Sundrea throws a series of punches but Capetto avoids them all with ease.
Sundrea looks to land a combination but Capetto avoids it well.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sundrea thows a body shot but no joy.
Sundrea falls off balance throwing a combination

and Capetto counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Sundrea is looking to escape.
Capetto stalling away here and it's allowed Sundrea to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Capetto stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Capetto changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sundrea looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sundrea pushes Capetto away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Capetto gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Sundrea stops Capetto from passing to mount.
Capetto throwing strikes but Sundrea manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Sin Sundrea has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sundrea scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Capetto to see if he's OK.

And that's the end of the fight!
Cosme Capetto showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Capetto has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
