The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnwell wants to clinch.

and Thrax counters with a head kick. That will keep Barnwell thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Barnwell chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Thrax can pounce on him.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Barnwell crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Thrax - the referee stops the clock and Barnwell gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Thrax. Barnwell manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Barnwell is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Thrax has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Barnwell avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Barnwell is trying to drag Thrax to the mat but Thrax just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Thrax jumps guard and drags Barnwell to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Thrax bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Barnwell's guard.

Well Thrax has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
