And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Manga Rosa!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Je is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rosa's half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Je wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rosa keeps working.
Rosa flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Je working over Rosa with some ground and pound. Rosa looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Je works his way into side control.
Je cracks Rosa with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Je working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Je looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Rosa is avoiding damage well.
Rosa is trying to control Je's posture but Je avoids it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Je tries for a kimura but Rosa is defending well.
Rosa is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Je looks up at the clock and then as Rosa takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Je smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Rosa tries to buck Je off but Je is having none of it.
Je advances to full mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rosa flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Rosa throwing hammer fists to the chest of Je. What's that going to do exactly?
Je can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rosa is looking to escape.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Je wants to finish this one by submission but Rosa is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Je.
Rosa wants to hold on but Je pushes him away.
Je lands a nice shot to the head.

Rosa is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big strike lands for Je! That's really hurt Rosa and he's turned his back - Je keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Je jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ray Je!
A relieved looking Ray Je thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
