The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kable wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kable buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sabonis takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Arvydas Sabonis has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kable misses with a leg kick
and Sabonis counters with a straight right hand.
Kable throws a wild body kick that Sabonis sees coming a mile off.
Kable fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sabonis manages to avoid it.
Kable misses with an attempted mid kick.
Neo Kable seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kable throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Sabonis counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kable's knee momentarily.
Kable thumps Sabonis with a low kick.
Sabonis throws an overhand right that lands on Kable's shoulder, as Kable tries to avoid the shot.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kable.
Sabonis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sabonis misses with a lunging right hand
and Kable counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Sabonis avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kable lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sabonis has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sabonis and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Kable ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sabonis moves away.
Kable swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Kable lands a big head kick that sends Sabonis tumbling to the mat! Kable takes a step backwards and waves Sabonis back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Sabonis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sabonis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kable paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kable misses with a low kick.
Sabonis tries to clinch but Kable moves out of range.
Sabonis paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Sabonis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kable.
Kable connects with a solid leg kick.

Kable lands a big uppercut and Sabonis crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Sabonis looks OK. Kable waves Sabonis back to his feet!
Sabonis is still on wobbly legs! Can Kable finish him?
Kable throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Crack! A monster head kick from Kable and Sabonis falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Kable!
