Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Swanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reginald Francis Colon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Reginald Francis Colon!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Francis Colon takes a swing at Swanson's ribcage but misses.
Francis Colon shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Swanson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Francis Colon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Francis Colon trying to control but Swanson is working from the bottom.
Francis Colon might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Swanson haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Swanson tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Francis Colon takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Swanson looks to score with a jab to the body but Francis Colon is just out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Swanson, as that shot connected.
Francis Colon slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Swanson missing with a left hand there. Francis Colon was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Francis Colon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Swanson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Francis Colon somewhat.
Swanson slips under a jab.
A low kick from Swanson is predictable there
and Francis Colon counters with a shoot takedown. Swanson fights it but they end up in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Swanson wants to sweep here but Francis Colon controlling him for the moment.
Swanson is working hard here to advance position.

Swanson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Francis Colon is pushing down on Swanson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Swanson is fighting to maintain full guard but Francis Colon has managed to sneak the leg through.

Swanson wants to improve his position but Francis Colon is controlling well.
Swanson is trying to maintain the position but Francis Colon is very close to passing his half guard.
Francis Colon throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Francis Colon wants to take a breather but Swanson is having none of it.

Francis Colon is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Swanson is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

After the fight, Reginald Francis Colon was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
