Vlad turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Vlad manages to end up in side control.
Smokeleaf seems to have recovered his senses.
The referee asks Vlad politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Vlad prefers to stall for the moment though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Smokeleaf pushes off an throws an elbow but Vlad leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Vlad crunches a lovely knee into Smokeleaf's ribcage.
Smokeleaf is pressed up against the cage. Vlad has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Smokeleaf down to the mat. Smokeleaf avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Olbrzymi Vlad. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vlad connects with a stiff jab that staggers Smokeleaf - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
