The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Dolor misses its intended target.

and Murphy counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Oooh a lovely combination from Murphy sends Dolor down but not out. Murphy dives into side control looking to finish.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The ground and pound from Murphy seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Dolor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Murphy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Murphy creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dolor sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Dolor parries the strikes from Murphy easily there. Murphy is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Dolor to escape.

Murphy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dolor avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Murphy.

Dolor is still in real trouble! Can Murphy finish him?
Murphy looks up at the clock and then as Dolor takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Murphy smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Murphy scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Dolor is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Murphy can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

In his post fight interview, Erick Murphy started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
