Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnson Beharry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Monteiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beharry's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Redemption Song. Johnson Beharry could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to William Monteiro's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beharry closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Beharry is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Monteiro defends it well.

Monteiro's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Monteiro drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Beharry manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Monteiro has Beharry in his guard.
Beharry makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Johnson Beharry just wasn't active enough.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Beharry, as that shot connected.
A solid leg kick lands there for Beharry.
Beharry throws a head kick that misses.
Beharry showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Monteiro.
Monteiro rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Beharry moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Beharry.
The referee asks Beharry politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Beharry prefers to stall for the moment though.

Monteiro is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Johnson Beharry.
The fight stays on the outside here - Beharry looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Beharry fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Monteiro to the ground. Beharry is now in Monteiro's guard.

Monteiro is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Beharry is aware though and is defending well.

Monteiro has his foot on Beharry's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Beharry works his way back into a safe position though.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Monteiro has momentary wrist control but Beharry slips an elbow through the middle.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Beharry feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Beharry has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Monteiro to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Beharry is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Monteiro pulls down on the head and he's put Beharry to sleep! This one is all over!
