Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Pablos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Cardozo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oscar Cardozo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cardozo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pablos could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Pablos bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cardozo's guard.

Pablos drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pablos jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Pablos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cardozo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pablos is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Cardozo is looking to stand up but Pablos isn't so interested in that idea.

Pablos is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cardozo is just riding it out for now. Pablos eventually gives up the hold.

Cardozo gets caught napping as Pablos dives in and scores a takedown. Cardozo manages to retain guard.
