Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vinnie Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brad Marchand!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Marchand.
Marchand blocks a jab.
Jones misses with a jab to the body
and Marchand connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Jones closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jones lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Jones slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marchand is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jones prevents Marchand from getting back to his feet.

Jones controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Brad Marchand has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Jones looking to score a takedown here. Marchand is defending well but Jones drives through and ends up in Marchand's guard.

Marchand shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side.
Jones rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Marchand counters with a nice uppercut.

Jones drives through and clinches with Marchand against the cage.
Jones manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Jones fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jones swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Marchand works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Marchand wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
Marchand missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Jones wants to sweep but no luck.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jones looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jones working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Marchand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jones looking for a guillotine here but Marchand defends easily.

Jones throws a punch but it's blocked by Marchand.

Marchand is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jones is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Marchand to the mat. Marchand regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Jones works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Jones seems to be working for a kimura but Marchand defends the submission attempt.

Marchand is trying to stand back up but Jones is controlling him
Still in half guard, Jones seems content to control.
Marchand is not content to let Jones control the position.
Marchand wants to get back to full guard.
Jones stops Marchand from getting back to his feet.

Marchand manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Marchand lands a two punch combo.
Marchand ducks under a wild hook from Jones.
Marchand thows a left - swing and a miss!
Jones tries to clinch but Marchand moves out of range.
Jones misses with a hook.
Jones is looking to clinch.

Jones closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Marchand did well to prevent Jones getting side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Marchand is in all sorts of trouble here.

Marchand tries to hold on but Jones pushes him away.

Poor strikes thrown by Jones there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Marchand manages to regain half guard. Good work.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Marchand sneaks back into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Vinnie Jones will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Jones moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Marchand has worked his arm free - good work by Marchand!

Jones thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Marchand seems a little lost for a moment, as Jones dominates the positioning.

Jones is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Marchand has escaped the position, nice work there.
Marchand struggling a bit here.
Jones is looking to take a break and control but Marchand is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Marchand is pushing Jones's head away, looking to escape. Jones manages to hold on to the position though.
Jones content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Marchand tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jones wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
