Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sotto slips a jab and a cross from James.
Sotto showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from James.
James misses with a wild body shot.
Sotto looks to score with a jab to the body but James is just out of range.
Sotto stuns James with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sotto misses with a body shot.
Sotto lands a jab to the head.
James throws a jab but it's blocked by Sotto.
No joy there for James, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
James throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
James looks to land a right hand but Sotto moved out of range.
James looks to land a combination but Sotto avoids it well.
James takes a swing at Sotto's ribcage but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sotto scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The crowd cheers as Sotto lands an impressive looking overhand right. James doesn't seem phased though.
James throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sotto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but James moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
James throws a series of punches but Sotto moves out of range.
James throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sotto counters with a crisp one two that drops James! Sotto thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves James to his feet! James is in big trouble!
James is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

James is still on wobbly legs! Can Sotto finish him?
Jesse James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
James lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sotto circles away quickly and effectively.
Sotto is stalking James. James circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Sotto, and it's lights out! James really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vic Sotto!
