The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
NZonzi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
NZonzi shoots in for a takedown but Bravo shows good takedown defense.

Steven NZonzi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

NZonzi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bravo is working away from the top position though.

Bravo throws a strike but NZonzi avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Bravo looking to sit in guard and control but NZonzi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Bravo wants to get back to his feet but NZonzi is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bravo working a defensive guard but NZonzi passes into half guard.
Bravo is staying active underneath NZonzi, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bravo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but NZonzi circles away quickly and effectively.
NZonzi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Bravo stuffs the takedown attempt from NZonzi. NZonzi gets slowly back to his feet.

NZonzi is looking to clinch but Bravo is avoiding it.
NZonzi closes the distance and clinches up with Bravo, looking for a takedown. NZonzi pushes Bravo against the ropes but Bravo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bravo throws a series of punches but NZonzi moves out of range.

Bravo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by NZonzi.

Bravo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Bravo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
NZonzi finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the ropes, ducking and weaving under Bravo's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and NZonzi falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
