The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Papadopoulos misses with a takedown attempt - Jansson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Papadopoulos moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Ghiorghos Papadopoulos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Papadopoulos looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jansson is fending him off so far but Papadopoulos persists. Nope, Jansson circles away and we're back to standing.

Papadopoulos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jansson's waist but Jansson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Papadopoulos off to one side.

Papadopoulos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Papadopoulos looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
The fighters circle, before Jansson throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Papadopoulos's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Jansson lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
