The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson looks to score with a jab to the body but Rivers is just out of range.
Jackson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Tyrone Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rivers. Rivers obviously looking to wear him down.

Rivers attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Jackson throws a looping overhand right but Rivers ducks down to avoid it.

Rivers throws a push kick but Jackson slaps the foot to one side.
Jackson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rivers. Rivers circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jackson cracks Rivers with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Jackson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rivers has time to react.

Jackson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rivers on the side of the head.
Jackson lands a nice hook to Rivers's body. Rivers takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jackson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rivers at a distance.

Rivers does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Nice defenses there by Rivers.
Rivers ducks under a wild hook from Jackson.

A clash of legs there as Jackson blocks the low kick.
Jackson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Riverss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Rivers is rocked!
Rivers wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Rivers is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him?
Jackson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Jackson cracks Rivers with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Rivers falls to his knees and Jackson doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
