Floriani comes to the cage accompanied by The animal I have become. Van Damned has chosen I'm gonna need a montage as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Floriani throws a combination that misses
and Van Damned counters with a nice body shot.
Floriani swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Van Damned takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Van Damned tries to sprawl but Floriani drives through with a takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Van Damned moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Floriani is posturing up here but Van Damned has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Floriani tries to roll out but it's too tight and Floriani has to tap! Slick submission there by Van Damned!

Jean Claude Van Damned decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
