The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silny shoots in but Berlusconi avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Silny misses with a wild body shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - Berlusconi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Berlusconi clinches with his opponent.
Silny throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Silny breaks the clinch.
Silny shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Berlusconi pinned against the cage. Berlusconi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Berlusconi rushes Silny and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Silny throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Berlusconi blocks it with crossed arms.

Berlusconi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Silny breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Berlusconi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silny swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Berlusconi blocks the body kick.
Silny shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Berlusconi sprawls well. Berlusconi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Silny gets slowly back to his feet.

Berlusconi pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Berlusconi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silny looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
