Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Julian Demaestri!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nix clinches.
Nix lands an elbow inside that Demaestri shrugs off.

It looks like Julian Demaestri has been cut.
Demaestri misses with an elbow over the top.

Nix pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Nix moves into the clinch.
A shot in the inside from Nix.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Nix using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Demaestri tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Nix smiles and moves away.
Nix lands a two punch combo.
Nix just misses with a punch to the body.
Demaestri fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Demaestri connects with a body shot that sends Nix's belly button to the back.
Nix connects with a high kick.
Nix misses with the combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Demaestri feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Demaestri slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Demaestri wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nix, who protects the arm well.
Nix wants to control but Demaestri postures up.
Demaestri scoring with punches and elbows.
Demaestri throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Demaestri has hold of Nix's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Nix seems comfortable defending it but Demaestri has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Nix is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Nix is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Demaestri couldn't care less - he's delighted!
