Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Parsons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arvi Rausku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rausku has chosen Notkea Rotta - Taas Lähtee Taju as his entrance music. Arvi Rausku acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parsons looks for a takedown but Rausku sprawls well.

Rausku drives through with a takedown into Parsons's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rausku slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Parsons shoots for a double leg takedown but Rausku sprawls well. He's pushed Parsons's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rausku misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Parsons shoots in looking for a takedown. Rausku tries to sprawl out of it but Parsons keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rausku manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Parsons. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rausku lands with a nice combination. Parsons backs away looking to recover.

Rausku drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rausku jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rausku wants to work for an arm triangle but Parsons is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Rausku is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Parsons has his hands clasped together but Rausku extends and breaks Parsons's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Rausku.
