Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcin Najman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as King Kong enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, King Kong!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kong closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kong lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Najman working for submissions but it's allowed Kong to get to half guard.
Kong looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Najman tries to roll over but Kong keeps him under control.
Kong winds up and cracks Najman with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Najman has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Kong escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Kong!
Najman seems a little lost for a moment, as Kong dominates the positioning.

Kong's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Kong decides to stand back up. Kong steps back and let's Najman get back to his feet.
A big right from Najman misses.
Najman tries to clinch but Kong moves away

and Kong counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Najman!

Kong has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Kong closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Najman quickly recovers to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kong is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Najman is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kong pulls his head out easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Najman is working to get back to half guard.
Kong tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Najman tries to hold on but Kong postures up.

Kong landing strikes from the mount and Najman is in trouble!
Najman tries to reverse the position but Kong maintains control.
Kong takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Najman sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Kong is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Najman doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kong.
Kong looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

King Kong dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!

Kong circles away from the clinch attempt.
Najman tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Kong decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Najman's guard.
Kong controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Kong got a little sloppy there for a moment and Najman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kong has managed to get both his arms back between Najman's legs - danger averted.
Kong passes Najman's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Still in half guard, Kong seems content to control.
Kong lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kong cracks Najman with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Kong manages to capitalize on a mistake by Najman to take his back!

Kong has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Najman has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Oooh a big shot gets through from Kong. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Kong has got one arm under Najman's chin. This could be trouble... Najman trying to control the other hand but Kong gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Najman has tapped out! The fight is over!
