The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Hook misses its intended target.
Clint Hook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hook is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Hook chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lineker can pounce on him.

No joy there for Hook, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lineker pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hook is out of range and Lineker settles back down.

Hook wants to slow Lineker down by chopping away at his legs.
Horrible takedown by Hook or perhaps it was just good defense by Lineker which made him look bad.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hook crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lineker - the referee stops the clock and Hook gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lineker. Hook manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Hook does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Hook tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lineker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hook somewhat.

Lineker looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Lineker backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Hook's temple! It sends Hook violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Lineker celebrates and the doctors try to help Hook!
