Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ying Yang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bo Nastie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nastie has chosen Roots Bloody Roots by Sepultura as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bo Nastie!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nastie wants to clinch up but Yang keeps it at a distance.
Nastie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yang as he jumps to the side.
Nastie moves into the clinch successfully.
Nastie breaks the clinch.
Yang shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nastie as he avoids it easily.
Nastie tries to close the distance and clinch but Yang swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nastie tries to clinch up.
Nastie gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Yang.
Yang shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nastie as he jumps to the side.
Yang avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Yang takes the fight into the clinch.
Nastie escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nastie ducks under a wild hook from Yang.
Nastie has a takedown stuffed.
Nice sprawl there from Yang as Nastie shoots in.
Ying Yang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bo Nastie.
Nastie drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Yang shoots in looking for a takedown. Nastie tries to sprawl out of it but Yang keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nastie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Nastie bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Yang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Nastie forces Yang back against the cage and clinches.
Yang manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Yang utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Yang wants to get back to his feet but Nastie is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Yang controls Nastie momentarily but Nastie frees himself.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Yang shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yang showed some decent athleticism there.
Yang is breathing heavily.
Nastie moves into full guard.
Yang wants to control from the top but Nastie keeps moving.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nastie is on top in guard.

Yang throws a right hand that Nastie ducks under and follows up with a left that Nastie also avoids with ease.
Yang changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nastie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Yang decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nastie is looking for a sweep. Yang is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Yang knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nastie on the ground.
Nastie won't allow Yang to pass to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ying Yang will probably get the nod.
That's time! Yang's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Nastie dodges the punch combination from Yang.
Nastie has managed to clinch.
Nastie jumps guard and drags Yang to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Yang feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Yang tightens his grip and picks Nastie up, before dumping him to the ground. Nastie manages to land in guard.

Nastie uses his free foot to push down on Yang's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Yang.

Nastie goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Yang turns into him and now he's in Nastie's guard.
Yang has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Yang not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
