Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zoro Fortisimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank McCay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCay throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

McCay has taken the fight to the clinch.
McCay is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Fortisimo pulls him back up using the underhooks.
McCay looking for a takedown.
McCay can't break the clinch.
Fortisimo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. McCay fights it off and pushes away nicely.
McCay tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fortisimo defends well and McCay ends up having to push Fortisimo into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Zoro Fortisimo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank McCay.

Fortisimo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McCay as he jumps to the side.
Fortisimo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McCay throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
McCay walks forward, straight into a front kick from Fortisimo.
McCay looks for a takedown but Fortisimo sprawls well.

enabling Fortisimo to counter with a crisp jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
No luck for Fortisimo with that takedown attempt.

Fortisimo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging McCay to the ground. Fortisimo is now in McCay's guard.
McCay lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Fortisimo!
Fortisimo is trying desperately to improve position.
You get the feeling that Fortisimo really doesn't like being in this position too much.
McCay is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Fortisimo tries to control the position but McCay now has his back.
McCay controlling the position well here. Fortisimo rolled but McCay kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

McCay is persistently looking for the submission but Fortisimo is defending it well.
What can Fortisimo do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McCay is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Fortisimo. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

McCay keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

McCay tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fortisimo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten McCay somewhat.
McCay throws a head kick but Fortisimo moves out of range.
Fortisimo closes the distance and clinches up with McCay, looking for a takedown. Fortisimo pushes McCay against the cage but McCay circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
McCay tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fortisimo defends well and McCay ends up having to push Fortisimo into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Fortisimo blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Fortisimo jumps guard but McCay turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

We're going to have a standup here because Zoro Fortisimo wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Fortisimo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McCay pinned against the cage. McCay gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Fortisimo moves out of range of the body kick from McCay.
McCay looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Fortisimo has taken the fight to the clinch.

McCay jumps into guard, dragging Fortisimo to the mat.
McCay is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Fortisimo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCay swivels though and keeps the full guard.

McCay has his foot on Fortisimo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fortisimo works his way back into a safe position though.

McCay is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Fortisimo frees his head nicely. Oh but McCay has switched to an armbar! Fortisimo is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
