The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pijakowski gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Pijakowski wants to clinch up but Gerltz keeps it at a distance.
Pijakowski misses with a takedown
and Gerltz counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Pijakowski thinking.
Pijakowski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gerltz as he avoids it easily.
Gerltz feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pijakowskis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Gerltz slips a jab and a cross from Pijakowski.
Karol Pijakowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gerltz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A head kick misses from Pijakowski.
Pijakowski tries to clinch but Gerltz moves out of range.

Gerltz lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Pijakowski is breathing heavily.
Gerltz lands a jab to Pijakowski's midsection.
Gerltz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gerltz scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pijakowski tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Pijakowski needs to keep his hands up - Gerltz had a free shot at his head there.
Gerltz connects with the punch.

Oooooh!!! Gerltz has knocked Pijakowski down with a huge combo! Gerltz steps away and waves a wobbly Pijakowski back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Karol Pijakowski has been cut.
Gerltz throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Pijakowski crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
